Set across rolling valleys, parkland and woodland, the ground provides a varied and engaging day’s sport. Drives have been developed to work with the contours of the land, allowing birds to present cleanly and honestly. Some offer height and distance, others demand instinct and timing, but all reflect the character of the estate.

The shoot sits at the heart of one of the West Country’s most established pheasant operations, with the flexibility to tailor days according to the team. Whether the focus is on challenging sport or a more relaxed and inclusive experience, the structure of the day remains consistent.

Loaders and experienced instructors are available for those who wish to make the most of the opportunity, ensuring that each Gun is supported appropriately. At the same time, non shooting guests are equally well catered for, both within the estate and back at the Lodge.
